Privacy Policy

This policy explains how our mobile games collect, use, share, retain, and protect information on Android and iOS.

Effective date Platforms Android & iOS

1. Scope and company information

This Privacy Policy applies to mobile games published under the Pulu Network brand on Google Play and the Apple App Store, together with related game services (collectively, the “Games”). It covers both Android and iOS versions.

Data controller and game operator Shanghai Pulu Network Technology Co., Ltd. 上海噗噜网络科技有限公司 · Brand: Pulu Network

Our Games do not require registration and do not create user accounts.

2. Information we collect

The exact information may vary by Game, device, platform, SDK configuration, consent choice, and the features you use. We may collect or receive the following categories:

Gameplay and app activity

Game sessions, levels, progress, scores, achievements, game events, feature interactions, settings and preferences, session duration, and ad interactions.

Device and app information

Device model, operating system and version, language and locale, app/package name and version, SDK version, network information, and general device settings.

Identifiers

Advertising identifiers such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA where available and permitted, app instance identifiers, app set identifiers, Firebase Installation ID, vendor identifiers, and similar identifiers.

Advertising and attribution

Ad impressions, clicks, video views, campaign and referral source, installs, re-engagement, conversions, and attribution results.

Diagnostics and performance

Crash reports, stack traces, error logs, app launch and performance information, device state, and other technical diagnostic data.

Approximate location and network data

IP address and an approximate country or region inferred from it. We do not use this information to collect precise GPS location under this policy.

Purchase events

Product identifier, purchase time, transaction status, and related in-app purchase events. Payment credentials are processed by Google Play or Apple; we do not receive your complete card or payment account details.

Some game progress and preferences may also be stored locally on your device.

Avatars, images, and sharing (where available)

If our app offers a feature for selecting or importing avatar photos or other images (sometimes labeled “upload”), those photos and images are processed and stored locally on your device, rather than uploaded to our servers. This also applies to the custom bird-profile avatars in Chick Diary.

When you actively choose to share an image or content created within the app, the content you select will be sent to the app or recipient you choose through the system sharing interface. The receiving app or service handles that content under its own privacy policy; please review the content and destination before sharing.

3. How we use information

  • Provide game features, save local settings, and maintain game operation.
  • Understand gameplay, balance levels, improve features, and develop new content.
  • Measure advertising campaigns, installs, engagement, and performance.
  • Display, personalize, and measure advertising where permitted by your consent and applicable law.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems.
  • Diagnose crashes, monitor stability and performance, and provide support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

4. Third-party services and data sharing

Our Games may use the following service providers, depending on the Game and version. They may process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms and privacy policies. The actual data processed depends on the Game, version, platform, SDK settings, and your choices.

Due to serious issues we have encountered while using Firebase, we are gradually removing it from our projects. This transition is ongoing, and some Games or versions may still use Firebase and the related services described below.

Google AdMob

Advertising delivery and measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. AdMob may process IP address, advertising or app identifiers, device/app information, ad interactions, product interactions, and diagnostics.

Google advertising privacy information

AdMob mediation partners

Depending on the Game, ad request, region, and your privacy choices, AdMob may request ads from AppLovin, InMobi, Liftoff Monetize, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, and Pangle. These partners may receive IP addresses, device/app and advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location inferred from IP addresses to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. The partners actually used vary by Game and version. Meta Audience Network advertising is separate from the Meta/Facebook app-event SDK described below.

Google Firebase Analytics

Gameplay and app-event analytics, audience and engagement measurement, device/app information, identifiers, purchase events, and attribution information.

Firebase privacy and security

Google Firebase Crashlytics

Crash reports, stack traces, device and app state, installation identifiers, and diagnostic information used to improve stability.

Firebase privacy and security

Google Firebase Remote Config

App-instance and app metadata used to deliver and evaluate configuration values and feature settings.

Tenjin

Some Games use Tenjin for install attribution and advertising performance measurement. Tenjin may process advertising/vendor identifiers, IP address, device model, platform, locale, app/SDK/OS version, campaign, and conversion information.

Meta/Facebook SDK

Some Games use the Meta/Facebook SDK to collect data for app-event analytics, advertising attribution, campaign measurement, and advertising services. Depending on configuration, Meta may receive device/app information, identifiers, app events, ad interactions, and purchase events. In Game versions updated to Facebook SDK 19, we disable automatic collection of screen titles and AppLink URLs as event metadata, and automatic sampling of app-screen content or element layouts for Meta product improvement. These disabled features are separate from the app events and advertising measurement described above. This describes those updated versions; an SDK upgrade does not change an older installed version.

Google Play and Apple App Store

App distribution and in-app purchase processing. Store operators process payments and may provide us with product and transaction-status information.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our rights, in connection with a corporate transaction, or to professional advisers and vendors that support our operations. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Disclosures for targeted or personalized advertising may nevertheless be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.

5. Advertising consent and choices

Where required by applicable law, we request consent before using device identifiers or personal information for personalized advertising. Depending on your region, Game, and platform, you may be offered a consent or privacy-options interface.

  • You can manage advertising choices through an available in-game privacy-options form.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and manage ad-privacy settings in your device settings.
  • On iOS, you can manage tracking permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and device Privacy & Security settings.
  • Disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising; you may still receive contextual or non-personalized ads. Denying tracking permission or removing an advertising ID does not by itself disable every form of analytics or diagnostic processing; those activities depend on the relevant consent requirements and SDK configuration.

6. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide and secure the Games, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Games, with your consent for personalized advertising or tracking where required, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time through available privacy controls, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

7. Data retention and deletion requests

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including game operation, analytics, advertising measurement, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by data type, Game, SDK configuration, and service provider. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where it can no longer reasonably identify you.

Our Games do not create user accounts, so there is no in-app account deletion function. Except for the Chick Diary feature described below, our Games do not provide an in-app data deletion function. Local game data may remain on your device until you clear the Game’s storage or uninstall the Game. You may email 116779363@qq.com to make a privacy or deletion request. We will assess and respond as required by applicable law.

Chick Diary: local bird-data deletion

Chick Diary (ChickDiary) lets you delete bird data that you have entered and stored locally on your device, including bird and egg profiles and related records. You can use the relevant in-app deletion controls or go to Settings > Data & Backup > Clear Local Data to clear your local bird data.

These in-app deletion and clearing functions cannot be used to delete or reset your profile-slot entitlements, coin balance, skin unlock status, or other unlocked items. These entitlements and balances are retained on the current device. Deleting local bird data does not delete information already processed by advertising or analytics services; you can submit related privacy or deletion requests using the contact details in this policy.

Because most analytics and advertising data is associated with device or app identifiers rather than a name or account, we may need information such as the Game name, platform, device identifier, or advertising identifier to locate a record. In some cases we may be unable to identify or delete a particular record, especially if it has been aggregated or de-identified. Data held by third-party providers is also subject to their retention and deletion procedures; where appropriate, we may direct or transmit a request to the relevant provider.

8. International data transfers

Our service providers operate globally. Information may therefore be processed in countries or regions outside your place of residence, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for these transfers.

9. Security

We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children’s privacy

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age at which they may consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about data sharing, and to complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and our ability to verify and locate the relevant data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our Games, SDKs, business practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
